Neighbor drama over tractor trauma

According to a Flathead County Sheriff’s report, two neighbors in Bigfork got into a verbal scuffle when one allegedly blocked the other’s driveway with her tractor while attempting to get rid of some debris in her yard. The male neighbor allegedly insisted the woman move the tractor, and when she did not immediately move to do so, he called the police. According to the woman on the tractor, she then finished loading the debris and climbed on the tractor to move, but the angry neighbor was standing in front of it talking to dispatch. The woman said she honked the horn at him twice and told him to move, but he paid no attention. The tractor driver then allegedly accidentally ran over the man’s foot with the tractor. Both neighbors admitted to the verbal disturbance but decided not to press charges.

A Bigfork man reported his neighbor for acting “odd.” The man said his neighbor had been sleeping next to his fence at night and was waving to him from his porch while hold binoculars. The neighbor also allegedly accused the man of stealing his cats. Officers advised the man that none of the neighbor’s alleged behavior qualified as criminal, but said to keep an eye on him and consider a temporary restraining order if he was concerned.

A man reportedly found his allegedly stolen truck stuck in the mud on an unknown road. When officers arrived the alleged owner was nowhere to be found.

A female English setter was found on Falls Loop in Columbia Falls and taken to the animal shelter.

Someone reportedly broke into a shop on Truman Creek Road and stole multiple items, including two chainsaws and a game camera.

Someone reported a man with a gun for walking down a road after his partner allegedly kicked him out of her car during and argument and made him walk. The man was not threatening anyone with the gun and had it in his waistband.

A woman reportedly assaulted her husband, stabbing him in the eye with an object and punching him in the mouth before taking his car keys. The husband said his wife was angry about him going on “naughty websites.”
