Joey Glen VanSchoyck, 69

Joey Glen VanSchoyck, 69, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 9, 2018, at his home in Columbia Falls.

Joey was born on July 4, 1949, in Great Falls to Glen and Lois (Gartzka) VanSchoyck. Joey was raised in Cut Bank, graduating from Cut Bank High School in 1968. That same year he married Linda in Cut Bank, and they were married for 38 years; they later divorced.

On Oct. 24, 1968, Joey entered the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged after six years.

Joey was a contract painter for the last 35 years, and a volunteer fire fighter. He loved spending time with his family, fishing, boating, camping and hunting.

Joey was preceded in death by Glen VanSchoyck and Caythyn VanSchoyck.

He is survived by his children, Garry VanSchoyck of Missoula, Nicholas VanSchoyck of Columbia Falls, Brittney VanSchoyck of Tempe, Arizona, and Ashlee VanSchoyck of Goodyear, Arizona; his mother, Lois VanSchoyck, of Billings; sister, Terri VanSchoyck, of Billings; and grandchildren, Caytlyn VanSchoyck, Spencer Kubis, Christopher VanSchoyck, Trent VanSchoyck, Morgan VanSchoyck and Kaycee VanSchoyck.
