Vonnie Ovnicek, 78

Vonnie Ovnicek died on Monday, Sept. 17, 2018, in Kalispell.

She was born on March 6, 1940, in Billings to Mike and Rose Klingensmith.

Con, her husband of 52 years, passed away on July 23, 2018, just 56 days earlier. Vonnie was comforted by her children and brother Richard in her last days.

Vonnie’s children are Robert Darwin Osmond (deceased), Cindy Lee Osmond Wood, Steven Allen Osmond, Debra Ann Osmond Lopez, Tracy Edward Ovnicek, Travis Daniel Ovnicek, and twins Bart Allen Ovnicek and Bret Richard Ovnicek.

Vonnie’s siblings are Richard Klingensmith and Donna Powell (deceased). Vonnie is survived by 14 grandchildren and 11, soon to be 12, great-grandchildren.

Vonnie had the hardest job in the world; she raised eight wonderful kids. She was proud of every one of her children. I remember her touch, always soft and warm. She balanced her home with love and kindness.
