Man doesn't appreciate off-duty officer's watchful eye

An off-duty border patrol agent was parked in a lot in Kalispell when he saw another person in a vehicle videotaping people. When the agent made eye contact with him, he stopped recording, rolled the window up and flipped off the officer before driving away.

A woman called crying and said her husband had just thrown her to the ground and she had wrist pain. She said she didn’t know what had happened, but he started freaking out.

Someone said a man was screaming and a woman was crying while they drove in a small, dark red Hyundai with a loud muffler. The caller thought the man had assaulted the woman because she saw the man with his hands on the woman and she yelled at him to stop.

A woman said a man from Spokane threatened her and shut down her internet. He told her to be good or he would do more things to her.

A woman with small children that were trying to sleep called about kids laughing and partying in an apartment above her. When an officer checked, everything was quiet.

A drunk, partially clad woman was wandering in the middle of U.S. 93. She was described as having blond hair, white jacket and no pants. She had a bicycle with her, but she left it there. An officer later took her to the hospital nd her bike was held for safekeeping.

A vehicle without a muffler was cruising the neighborhood in the middle of the night for the last hour. The caller said the vehicle drove through the alley, stopped, shut off the car and then started it up on a repeated basis.

A caller said her mother, who didn’t hear well, didn’t realize someone entered her home and stole license plates from the residence.

Someone reported there are two dogs that have been abandoned in a room for a few days. She asked that an animal control officer respond to take care of the dogs.

A person said she locks her doors at night, but in the morning, she found a door unlocked. But no one entered the residence.

A person called the Whitefish Police Department advising her roommate was found OK in a ditch with an empty booze bottle.

The father of a man who was arrested yesterday morning for assault with a weapon called and wanted to talk to an officer about what had happened.

A caller asked for law enforcement’s presence so the friends could pick up the person’s belongings at the son’s residence. The caller said it wasn’t a good idea to be there because the son becomes very volatile.

A person identifying himself as a mountain man said he gave his goat “meth” and the goat was doing things that he didn’t want it to. When asked for an address, he said he was living in a cave.

A woman who seemed to be drinking heavily was staggering, talking aimlessly to people and using profanity as she wandered to a bar.

A person wanted an officer to do a walkthrough in a casino because there were some sketchy looking people inside. Two of them were outside and three others were inside.

When a dispatcher accepted a 911 call, a person whistling could be heard. When the caller spoke with the dispatcher, she said she didn’t know how it happened. She said she was just letting her dogs out.

A caller was concerned after seeing a large amount of blood on the bridge. After a bit of inspection, it was discovered that a deer had been hit by a vehicle.

A woman said if “Bruce” were in town she would need to barricade her residence. She wanted an officer to confirm if the man had returned to town.
