Neighbors frighten real-estate agent
A real-estate agent ran into trouble while attempting to take photos of a property on U.S. 2 in Marion for a client who was selling it. Apparently, neighbors yelled at her to get off the property. Lucky for her they kept the pitchforks and torches at home. The incident made an impact, however, as she allegedly was afraid to return to the scene.
It’s that time of year again to fight over Christmas presents. A fight was reported to Flathead County Sheriff’s Office on Maple Drive in Kalispell, allegedly over a father’s “failure to buy his kid an Xbox as promised.” The fight was mostly verbal. When the man reportedly tried to leave, kids grabbed and pulled off his coat. Parties were separated. According to the neighborhood busybody there are “lots of calls at their house all the time.”
Apparently watching Monday night football is not every man’s thing. One guy reportedly enjoys spending Monday nights using a fire exit to steal merchandise. The alleged serial shoplifter has stolen approximately $1,500 to $2,000 worth of merchandise, according to someone on U.S. 2 in Kalispell who said they have the man on video and would send deputies a photo to distribute.
A man was spotted crawling through a trailer window on Evergreen Drive.
A brute began punching someone on Montana 35 in Kalispell after they told the man to leave the bar for reportedly giving drugs to another person.
A truck reported stolen on Whalebone Drive in Kalispell was spotted by the owner’s friend, who reported it on a trailer in the North Fork.
Tools were stolen from a truck parked on Evergreen Drive, including porter cable saws, an impact drill, a handmade knife made out of a file, an air staple gun and a variety of other tools.
Someone allegedly vandalized, or attempted to steal, a delivery truck parked at a temporary location on U.S. 2 West in Kalispell.
A wild woman took an argument over the phone to the next level when someone on Queens Court in Evergreen told deputies she reportedly showed up and hit them.
Employees on Wisconsin Avenue requested extra patrol from Whitefish Police Department during the time they opened, out of concern that a man reportedly was showing up every morning waiting and had made strange comments to them in the past.
A man on Pine Avenue was suspicious of two strangers who allegedly knocked on his door, asking why he was following them. The caller believed the strangers may have been on drugs and wanted police to check the area.
There were some slippery situations in Whitefish. A man’s son reportedly fell on ice on Baker Avenue and was in the hospital for severe pain and wanted police to respond. The man said he was taking pictures and claimed there was water dripping from an awning, creating ice and alleged the business had not done anything to prevent this, such as salting.
Another call came in from someone on First Street who needed a ride for a friend who fell and hurt his ankle and claimed he didn’t have luck with taxi companies that were “all busy.”
