Duane Harlin Goodwin, 59

Duane Harlin Goodwin, 59, of Kalispell, passed away Jan. 29, 2018.

Duane was born in Kalispell on July 7, 1958, to Jay and Naomi Goodwin. Duane attended school in Somers and later graduated from Flathead High School. After high school he moved to Washington where he worked for a lumber mill.

Duane moved back to his home state of Montana where he started his own company, Goodwin Tile, and had operated it for the last 20 years.

On Sept. 12, 1997, he married Pamela Rebich.

Duane’s passions were his love of the outdoors, including hunting, fishing, camping, and being a dedicated Broncos fan.

Duane is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Pamela; daughters, Niki (Nathan) Bennett, and Krystyna Goodwin; sons, Sean (Lavon) Goodwin, Justin (Kimmy) Evert, and Nicholas (Dana) Evert; parents, Jay and Naomi Goodwin; brothers, Jerry (Peewee) Goodwin, Roger (Sandy) Goodwin, and Steve (Mo) Goodwin; sisters, Gayle (Steve) Mason, Brenda (Bob) Ost, and April (Mark) Perfitt; and 10 grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 6, at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home.
