Stephen E. Feuz, 58

| February 3, 2018 9:25 PM

After a short, but valiant battle with lung cancer, Steve Feuz passed away peacefully the afternoon of Friday, Jan. 19, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.

Born April 28, 1959, in Southern California, his family moved to the Auburn area of Northern California in 1963. He grew up north of Auburn and graduated from Placer High School in 1979, immediately starting his long career in the HVAC/plumbing wholesale industry, a career he enjoyed his entire life.

Realizing a lifelong dream to live in Montana, he relocated to Kalispell in 1992 to help MDM Supply (now DSG) establish itself in the wholesale plumbing business. Although Steve physically worked in an office in Montana over the years, you never knew if he was moving plumbing products through Alaska, Hawaii, Washington or Montana. He was not only a great commercial plumbing salesperson, but also one of the premier golf tournament coordinators in the industry.

Steve is survived by his wife Sydne, daughter Sydne Tennille Johnson (Dana), and grandson Sullivan, his parents John and Barbara Feuz, and brothers Michael (Keren) and Tim (Kathleen Sparks), sister Ann Feuz, and his stepdaughter Kelsey Komar.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Laraine.

Many thanks to the staff at the Kalispell Regional Medical Center who were so kind and helpful to Steve in his final days, and to Chaplain Darrin who officiated at Steve and Sydne’s wedding and eased Steve’s passing in his final moments.

A celebration of Steve’s life will be scheduled by his friends and coworkers at DSG at a later time where we all can gather in our Aloha shirts, share memories of Steve, listen to a little Jimmy Buffet and polish off a margarita or two.

In lieu of flowers, Steve requested that donations be made to Kalispell Regional Health Center Hospice.
