Harold Wiederrich, 89

Harold Wiederrich, 89, of Kalispell, passed away Nov. 18, 2017, of natural causes.

Harold was born in Sidney, Montana, on Oct. 8, 1928. Harold was raised in Sidney along with his two brothers Erwin and LeRoy. After leaving high school he joined the Army where he spent four years in Alaska and was trained for big engine repair.

In 1953 Harold married the love of his life, Valery Haussman. Of this union they had a son. Bryan. They were married for 64 1/2 years.

Harold retired from Holly Sugar Plant in Sidney after 17 years, then he and Valery moved a few times before moving to Kalispell, where he was a mechanic for Roy Stanley Chevrolet for a number of years. Harold and Valery went on to manage the Elms and Big Sky apartments where he fixed everything and anything and they both kept everything in working order. The next adventure was managing Evergreen Mobile Park where he finally retired.

Harold was preceded in death by both of his parents, his son Bryan Wiederrich, and both of his brothers, who both passed in 2017. Harold leaves behind his loving wife Valery, a grandson Erick in Washington and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Harold was a kind and gentle man and looked after his wife with love.

A private service and burial was held at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery.
