Hitchhiker threatened with handgun

A man said a couple who offered him a ride to work pulled a gun on him while in the car. The man told the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office that he was in the backseat when the male half pulled a handgun on him and demanded his wallet as they were rounding the Airport Road roundabout. The man said he “bailed from the car” when the woman stopped the van.

A man suspected of being intoxicated or on drugs was reportedly seen pacing back and forth on someone’s deck on Bierney Creek Road. The man reportedly tried all the door handles to the house but stumbled back down the driveway when he found them locked.

A man was entered as a missing person after family members reported he’d been gone about a month with no contact. His last known location was believed to be the Spotted Bear area and his vehicle was reportedly found abandoned in Coram.

Deputies were advised to monitor Blacktail Mountain for speeding vehicles.

A woman reported her neighbors’ young children for repeatedly trespassing on her property. The woman allegedly refused to talk to the children’s parents and insisted officers do it for her.

Two men were reportedly seen rifling through a garage but took off when the neighbor reportedly yelled, “what are you doing?”
