Case of parking rage reported in Whitefish

According to the Whitefish Police Department, a vehicle was blocking part of the road. A caller said they tried to tell the person to move the vehicle and they cursed and threw snowballs at her.

There was a break-in reported at a construction trailer in a new subdivision.

A woman said she had an incident with a neighbor concerning a rental agreement. She told law enforcement she is “an old woman with a broken back being taken advantage of.”

A mother said her son was missing his phone and keys.

A business employee found a woman’s wallet outside and asked law enforcement to pick it up.

A woman said she picked up a dog that was running down the side of the road. She said the dog was not friendly and it tried to bite her. A man agreed to bring the dog in to the police station. It appeared the dog had broken off a leash. The owner was located and given a warning when he came to pick up the dog.

A caller said they were missing a blue Louis Vuitton wallet.

A child accidentally locked himself inside the bathroom.

An angry note from a neighbor was left on a vehicle.

A wallet was found in the middle of the road.

According to the Columbia Falls Police Department, a school staff member was worried about a trailer parked at the entrance of the parking lot blocking buses.

A priest from Idaho called about a missing person who might be in the area, and was afraid the person could be in danger.

A pit bull mix “foster mom” said the dog jumped through the window of a house. The woman said she needed the dog removed.

A resident called at 10:42 p.m. to report their neighbor was building a house and was still hammering away. The resident said it seemed a little late to be working on the house, and they would like the neighbor to quiet down.

A towing company assisted in getting a toddler out of a locked vehicle. The vehicle owner said she started her car, put the keys on the front seat, strapped her child in and when she shut the door, all of the doors locked.

A drunk man who was reportedly fighting people before he was given a ride home.
