McIntosh, Ping top open division at Rebecca Farm
A pair of locals finished atop the Skijoring America standings in the open division, the highest class of competition, after the inaugural Skijoring at Rebecca Farm event on Saturday and Sunday.
Columbia Falls’ Toby McIntosh skied his way to a perfect score of 100, while Whitefish resident Scott Ping rode to the top of the leaderboard with a 90-point showing. Ping’s horse, Kona Koffee, finished on top of the open division horse standings with 90 points.
Kalispell’s Kali Kitchen topped the rider leaderboard in the sport division, the class just below open.
Jennifer Butler, another Flathead Valley native, rode Royaleigh to the top of the sport division horse standings.
