Bighorn sheep cause traffic hazard

According to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department, a caller said bighorn sheep were standing dangerously close to traffic off U.S. 2.

A man on crutches said he was struggling to walk to visit his mother in the hospital.

A diamond ring fell off a woman’s finger and she didn’t know where it was.

A caller said his guests robbed him but he refused to give his name or the location of his residence.

According to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office, a 4-foot-tall snow bank was blocking a woman’s driveway and she couldn’t get her vehicle in. When she called the man who plowed, he told her he did it in retaliation for her son saying bad words to him one time.

A woman’s ex-boyfriend was blocking her driveway with his vehicle so she couldn’t go to work.

A caller was worried about a woman who was hoarding pets.

A caller said his 10-year-old son was assaulted by the neighbor. The neighbors apparently had an ongoing dispute, and officers counseled them about avoiding conflict.

A half-dozen guns were reported missing from a Bigfork home. The resident was unsure when the guns went missing but said they had guests over last week.

A large sum of money was deposited into a woman’s bank account, and she didn’t know where it came from.

A man and woman were arrested and their baby was being held by CPS in Lincoln County. They were reportedly supposed to meet with CPS, but took off with the baby. They were later detained in Eureka.

A teacher had a question about a parent carrying a gun on the hip when they came to pick up their child.

A caller was reportedly in a panic about their roof caving in. Thet said it was going to come down any minute but they had nowhere to go. The fire department arrived to check on the scene.

According to the Whitefish Police Department, a car turned on its side when it slid off the road. The occupants were not injured.

A man reportedly came at a woman with a shovel as she was driving through an intersection.

A caller was worried a man was going to drive drunk to pick up his son. Officers made contact with the man who made other arrangements.

Someone turned on a woman’s outdoor water faucet.
