FVCC hosts variety of safety workshops Monday
Monday kicks off Kalispell SafetyFestMT, a four-day event hosted by Flathead Valley Community College where members of the community can attend a variety of free classes that cover a range of safety topics.
The classes will address topics including air quality, active shooters, first aid, winter driving, work place violence and many more taught by a range of health, safety and labor professionals from both local and state levels.
Sessions begin at 7 a.m. Jan. 8 with a panel of local safety directors and will continue through 3 p.m. Jan. 11.
Participants have the freedom to pick and choose which classes to attend as several overlap.
Classes will be held in the Art and Technology Building on the FVCC campus with all sessions open to the public for ages 18 and older.
