Glacier wins final speech meet before state tournament

In the final week before area speech and debate teams in the AA division head to state, Glacier High School won the Garden City Invitational in Missoula.

Whitefish and Columbia Falls, which compete in the A division, competed at a meet in Polson. Whitefish took first. Columbia Falls took second and the hosting Polson Pirates took third place. Columbia Falls also sent debate teams to the meet in Missoula to compete against other AA teams in the weeks leading up to their state tournament.
