Swimming Braves' Bouda, Bulldogs' Ring win events at Missoula Invite
MISSOULA — Flathead’s Jamie Bouda was a double winner and Whitefish’s Preston Ring won one event on Saturday at the Missoula County Public School Invitational swim meet.
Bouda had the top times in the 200 individual medley (1:57.54) and 100 freestyle (47.19). He finished four seconds ahead of the field in the IM. His margin of victory in the freestyle was three seconds.
Ring (23.13) won the 50 freestyle.
AJ. Popp of Glacier was second in the 100 freestyle and 100 backstroke.
Flathead’s Jace Reed was third in the 100 butterfly.
The Flathead boys were third in the 200 medley relay.
Missoula Hellgate won the boys and girls team titles.
