Career night for Douglas in WildKats win over Corvallis
COLUMBIA FALLS — Dani Douglas scorched Corvallis for a career-high 28 points to lead Columbia Falls to a big Class A nonconference girls basketball win on Thursday evening at Columbia Falls High School.
The senior point guard knocked down eight 3-pointers in her career-best performance.
Hannah Gedlaman notched a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds for the Wildkats, who improved to 12-1 on the season.

MISSOULA — Glacier’s stout defense turned in another strong performance, earning the Wolfpack a Western AA conference road win against Missoula Hellgate.
The two teams combined for only 65 points, including just seven combined in the first quarter, in the defensive struggle.
Ellie Stevens and Cadie Williams each scored seven to lead Glacier.
The Wolfpack scored all of its points from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter, sinking 10 of 14 attempts.

Lee Walburn led the Bulldogs’ offensive effort with a game-high 23 points, just edging the 21 scored by Stevensville’s Logan Roth.

Glacier overcame a slow start to enter the fourth quarter with the lead but couldn’t hold onto it in a Western AA loss to Missoula Hellgate.
“Incredibly physical game,” Glacier coach Mark Harkins said. “It was a battle.”
Hellgate pulled away at the end thanks in large part to a game-high 18 points from Rollie Worster.
Caden Harkins scored 16 to lead Glacier.
