1 injured in crash at busy intersection

One person was injured after a vehicle ran a red light at the intersection of U.S. 93 and West Reserve Drive in North Kalispell on Monday.

According to Kalispell Police Sergeant Allen Bardwell, a northbound vehicle ran a red light and collided with two vehicles attempting to make a left turn. A woman from Libby was sent to the hospital with injuries described as not life threatening.

The accident delayed traffic at the busy intersection for about an hour.

“It sure clogged things up,” Bardwell said. “Traffic was backed up to Whitefish Stage at one point.”
