Norman B. Olson, 90

Norman B. Olson, 90, passed away on June 24, 2018, at The Springs in Whitefish.

He had previously resided in Missoula for more than 52 years.

He leaves his wife, Beverly, of 69 years; his son, Darryl, and wife, Bonnie; his daughter, Debbie Noyes, and husband, Rick; and son, Randy, and wife, Shawn; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

His children, Penny and Bruce, preceded him in death.

Norman was born in Flasher, North Dakota, and farmed for many years prior to moving to Missoula. He was a man of many skills but ultimately retired from Borden Chemical.

He enjoyed woodworking and was very talented with stained glass and etched glass. He helped make the stained glass ticket booth at The Carousel in Missoula, as well as a beautiful picture for the University Congregational Church. He and Bev were very active members in their church for many years. They also volunteered at the Community Hospital for many years and were well known at the hospital.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on July 19 at The Springs in Whitefish. Chaplain Drew Buckner will officiate.
