Rian Erik Britt, 41

Rian Erik Britt, 41, passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2018.

Erik was born on July 28, 1976 in Cardston, Alberta, to Rian J. and Nancy (Hutchison) Britt. Erik attended school in Kila from kindergarten to eighth grade, then on to Whitefish High School, graduating in 1994.

Erik loved skiing, snowboarding, waterskiing, hunting and camping in Glacier National Park. Erik was a building contractor who built many homes in the valley alongside his dad and brother.

Erik was a loving and beloved father, son and brother. He was very close to many of his aunts and uncles and cousins. He was known for his willingness to help anyone who needed it, friend or family. Erik will always be remembered for his gentle soul and beautiful smile. He will be greatly missed by all who ever knew him.

Erik is survived by his parents, Rian and Nancy Britt, of Kalispell; two sons, Kyler Rian and Rylee Alexander Britt, both of Kalispell; and two brothers, Nolyn R. and Shane A. Britt.

There will be a celebration of Erik’s life at 2 p.m. July 28 at the Britt home on Whitefish Stage.
