Golfer is way out of bounds

Someone called the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office to report a man playing golf in the cemetery in Columbia Falls. He was wearing white gloves as well as a white hat, white shirt and tan cargo shorts.

A person reported a 12-year-old girl who apparently had been drinking heavily. She was at the dock and had a “massive” bottle of vodka as well as a plastic cup.

A man flagged a deputy down to tell him about his neighbors who came up on the weekend to shoot guns and play loud music until the late hour of 8:45 p.m. The deputy told the man there was no law against shooting or noise in the county. The man said he understood there wasn’t much that could be done, but he wanted it documented in case of a future incident.

A wandering cat apparenty set off an alarm at a Columbia Falls residence.

Someone called the Kalispell Police Department to report finding animal feces in the backyard and was concerned that it was from a bear.

A person reported a drunk man in the store who had stumbled and bumped into things. She was concerned he was going to drive away. An officer determined the man had a medical condition.

A caller who admitted to having a few beers said someone stole his blue mountain bike and he had no way to get home. An officer dropped the man off at home and told him to make a report in the morning.
