Taking a ride on her big green tractor

A caller reported to Columbia Falls Police that a woman driving a John Deere tractor had hit his GMC Yukon and another vehicle in the parking lot of an area grocery store.

A woman believed she had been poisoned by her ex-boyfriend when they were together in a tow truck earlier in the day.

A man called to report his soon-to-be ex-wife had taken a diamond ring and pawned it. He also said she texted him that she needed the money which is why she pawned it. She said she needed more money to get it back from the pawn shop.

A woman reported her purse was taken from her unlocked van. She said her neighbor found it “sprawled out all over the place.”

Another caller reported someone had entered her unlocked vehicle and taken a calculator. She requested extra patrol in the neighborhood.

A man called to report four of five people who were doing meth in a nearby house.

A caller reported he didn’t have any rear lights so he would drive home with his hazard lights on. An officer helped the driver get home safely.

A man reported to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office that his neighbor poured motor oil on Coon Hollow Road. When he called the neighbor to tell him not to do it, the other man said he’d shoot the caller.

A man reported being assaulted by a 16-year-old girl at her grandmother’s trailer. When a deputy investigated the incident, he determined the man had made up the claim.

A man reported someone broke into his truck and stole a GPS unit and a carton of cigarettes.

A man came to the Sheriff’s Office to report a woman who was sending him harassing messages after she gave him a pistol in exchange for some work he did. The gun turned out to be stolen.

Someone reported losing a tackle box.

Three people and a dog stranded on a boat on Flathead Lake got a helping hand when they were towed back by another boater.

A landlord reported a cat scratching and howling at the door. He said the tenant was allowed to have the animal. The caller said he wasn’t sure how long it had been since the tenant had been there.

Someone reported people shooting off fireworks off a dock. They left before an officer arrived.

A caller reported a man flying his drone at Woodland Park. An officer informed the pilot of park rules.

A person called the Kalispell Police Department to report that someone stole their bike. It is described as a small BMX bike, purple frame with black handlebars and rims with a sticker on the side that says “Rich Kid.” An officer said the department would keep an eye out for it.

A caller reported four teenagers, both boys and girls, were smoking marijuana in an apartment and the smell was so bad, the caller and the family had to leave. The caller did get in touch with the landlord, but she couldn’t get there for at least an hour.

A mother called to report her 16-year-old daughter wasn’t at home and she was driving around looking for her. She did find her and was in a rush to get off the phone so she could discipline the teen.

A Columbia Falls teen who lost his wallet at a Kalispell playground had good fortune on his side when a woman found it and called it in. An officer picked up the wallet, which contained a driver’s license, credit cards and $73.
