Gene Charles Heinrichson, 67

| July 29, 2018 2:00 AM

Gene Charles Heinrichson, 67, died in Tukwila, Washington, on May 31, 2018, surrounded by friends and family.

Gene loved the Lord and he loved life. He loved his beautiful wife, Donna, his family, his friends, and his dog Squeak.

Gene was the son of Chuck and Vera Heinrichson of Kalispell. He attended Flathead High School, graduating in the Class of 1969. He worked as a concrete finisher for his uncle Leroy while he lived in Kalispell.

He was the life of the party and always willing to support anyone and everyone he met. As Gene was growing up, he surrounded himself with a group of friends that lived life to the fullest. You could always find Gene at every gathering. He made people laugh and was a master at storytelling. He loved riding his motorcycle, boating, cross country skiing, rafting, and hanging out with his friends.

In the 1980s, he moved to Seattle where he met and married Donna. He worked as a truck driver with his close friend Mitch Wilkerson, transporting off-shore containers. His joy later in life was riding his Gold Wing with Donna and his friends.

He loved Donna’s family as his own. He is survived by his two stepdaughters, Alesha Shemwell and Audree Davidson; and four grandchildren, Alex and Genevieve Shemwell, and Amanda and Cole Davidson. He is also survived by two sisters, Renae Walker of Salmon, Idaho, and Debbie Bloomfield of Bigfork; and one brother, Gary “Heine” Heinrichson of Kalispell.

A gathering for Gene’s life will be held at 3 p.m. on Aug. 4 at 984 Egan Road in Kalispell. Bring your stories and help us celebrate Gene’s life.
