The Evergreen Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for the second Brent Hall Award that will be presented at the annual holiday banquet Dec. 6.

The Brent Hall Award is given each year by the Evergreen Chamber of Commerce to honor a person whose legacy exemplifies a spirit of giving, community and business leadership, volunteerism and advocacy for and support of others.

Hall was a longtime Evergreen businessman and community leader who died in March 2017 at age 76. His career spanned more than four decades in the building industry. In establishing the award last year, Evergreen Chamber President Ken Kalvig noted that “Brent Hall leaves a rich and textured legacy of giving and volunteer service to local and charitable causes: education, health care and other community institutions ... If you met Brent as a stranger, you left as a friend.”

The Evergreen Chamber awarded its inaugural Brent Hall Award posthumously to Hall for his lifetime of service.

The selection committee includes Chamber representatives. For more information email Director@evergreencofc.com.
