He was a gunner’s mate when he met and married his wife Audrey in Chicago, and after his time in the service moved to his family farm in Kalispell in the summer of 1975.

Shortly after arriving in the Flathead Valley he began to work at the Columbia Falls Aluminum Plant until he retired after 25 years.

He enjoyed motorcycles and cars, he loved ships, travel, music and support of the NRA.

Patrick leaves behind many memories for his children, Audrey L. Smith (TeeTock), Patrick C. Smith Jr. and Angela Smith-Ibarra to pass on to four granddaughters and three grandsons.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 30, at Glacier Memorial Gardens Kalispell.
