Playhouse presents 'Singin' in the Rain,' 'The Little Mermaid'
Take a seat at Bigfork Summer Playhouse to catch the iconic musical, “Singin’ in the Rain” or the Disney classic, “The Little Mermaid,” both opening this weekend.
“The Little Mermaid” is based on the animated 1989 Disney movie and follows the story of a mermaid named Ariel. She dreams of the world above the sea and gives up her voice to find love. The show is fast-paced, filled with all your favorite songs from the Disney movie and is sure to be a crowd pleaser for all ages. The show opens June 12 with an 8 p.m. performance and other dates this month including June 15, 20, 23 and 28.
“Singin’ In The Rain” brings lively melodies and dance numbers to the stage from the classic 1952 film starring Gene Kelly and Debbie Reynolds. If you love to see tap dance, this is the show to watch. The performance features songs like “Broadway Melody,” “Singin’ In The Rain,” “Good Morning” and more. Returning cast members Trase Milburn, Tyler Pirrung and Fiona Mowbray are sure to delight with the leading roles. The play will open on Saturday, June 9 at 8 p.m. with additional performances on June 14, 18, 21 and 27.
