Legion Baseball Lakers A rally by Twins A

Nate Kelly, 2 for 3, doubled, tripled, drove in three runs and scored three times from his No. 2 spot in the batting order to help the Kalispell Lakers A rally for a wild 13-10 American Legion baseball victory over the Glacier Twins A on Thursday night at Griffin Field.

Kalispell had a pair of three-run innings in the fourth and sixth and tallied four runs in the seventh.

Glacier had six one-run innings and scored four times in the fourth.

Leadoff hitter Ben Corriveau and Jaydon Dillon both went 3 for 5 for Kalispell, which totaled 15 hits.

Dillon had a double and also finished with three RBIs.

Glacier had 10 hits and was led by Coby Clark-Dickenson, who went 3 for 3. He doubled, scored four times and drove in a run.

Dan Seymour and Caleb Meehan had two hits each for Glacier.

Matt Morrison had three of Glacier’s seven stolen bases.

Reid Barrows took his turn the mound in the fifth inning. He went 2 1/2 innings to pick up the win.

Wes Palmer pitched the final two innings to earn the save.

The two teams square off again tonight in Whitefish at Memorial Field for a single nine-inning contest starting at 5.
