WHITEFISH — The Glacier Twins A spotted the Kalispell Lakers A a 2-0 lead after one inning of play, but dominated play after that for an 11-2 American Legion baseball conference win Friday night at Memorial Field.

The Twins banged out 14 hits, led by Terek Bistodeau, who went 3 for 4 and scored four times, and Dan Seymour, who was 2 for 5 with four RBIs.

Seymour doubled, along with Tom Hellwig, Matt Morrison, who had two, and Coby Clark-Dickenson.

Trailing 2-1 after three innings, the Twins offense broke loose for three runs in the bottom of the fourth and four more in the fifth for an 8-2 lead.

Glacier scored again in the sixth, one run, and pushed two more across the plate in the eighth to complete the scoring.

Nathan Hader pitched the first seven innings to pick up the win. He walked two Lakers and struck out three.

The Twins (2-7) are back in action Sunday for a doubleheader at the Mission Valley Mariners.

The next outing for the Lakers is Tuesday, a home doubleheader with the Bitterroot Red Sox.
