20 Under 40 awards announced June 19

The second annual 20 Under 40 awards honoring the Flathead Valley’s top young professionals will be featured at the Kalispell Chamber of Commerce luncheon on Tuesday, June 19, at the Kalispell Red Lion Hotel.

The chamber partnered with Whitefish Credit Union, the Daily Inter Lake and Flathead Area Young Professionals in highlighting this year’s 20 Under 40 honorees.

More than 100 nominations were submitted, and award recipients will announced at the luncheon. The event begins at 11:45 a.m. Register with the Kalispell Chamber of Commerce.

Thinking Thursday looks at finance strategies

Credit and finance strategies for starting a business and buying a home is the focus of this month’s Thinking Thursday session from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Thursday, June 14, at the Kalispell Chamber of Commerce, 15 Depot Loop.

The lending professionals at Glacier Bank will present a workshop designed to help people understand personal credit, options and strategies available for starting, building or buying a business,and how credit and/or business ownership can influence lending options when it comes to purchasing a home.

Whitefish Chamber offers health-related session

The Whitefish Chamber of Commerce Lunch ’n Learn session on Friday, June 15, will feature a health theme titled “Adaptability, Attainability and Adventure.” Drs. Andy and Kailey Armor and the staff at Compass Chiropractic will discuss the process they use to assess overall health and will talk about the newest chiropractic technology and techniques.
