Cheryl Lee Henderson, 71

Cheryl Lee Henderson, 71, passed away the morning of June 7, 2018 in her home after a short illness, surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born Jan. 25, 1947, in Chicago to Frank and Kay Laub. Her family moved to Missoula when she was 10 years old. She attended Catholic schools and graduated from Sacred Heart.

Cheryl married Ralph Henderson March 16, 1968. They moved to Columbia Falls in 1971 and she worked as a bookkeeper for various businesses of the Flathead Valley, in and around Kalispell, Whitefish and Columbia Falls.

Cheryl and Ralph recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary close to Flathead Lake where they had honeymooned over 50 years ago.

Cheryl loved her family and was happiest when her children and grandchildren were all gathered together. Her friends were of great comfort to her during her illness. She loved to play games with her family and bridge with her many friends.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, and an infant grandson, Joshua Henderson.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph; her daughter, Jennifer, of Kalispell; her son, Scott, and his wife Brandie, of Kalispell; grandsons, Bodie and his wife Kelsey of Bozeman, and Easton of Kalispell; her sister, Kathy Disney, and husband Don, of Missoula, and their son Evan and his children.

A service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, June 22, at St. Richard’s Catholic Church in Columbia Falls. There will be a luncheon to follow.
