Amos Lloyd Crepeau, 83

AXC Amos Lloyd Crepeau, U.S. Navy Ret. passed away June 18, 2018. He was loved and will be missed by many.

He was born Aug. 2, 1934, the son of Ruth Mills Crepeau and Amos Lloyd Crepeau. He grew up in Fairfield and Augusta, Montana.

Amos was well known in Flathead Valley. He spent about 30 years in the U.S. Navy where he served in the Korean War and twice in the Vietnam War. He received numerous medals and awards, including the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal of the USS Hornet, National Defense Service, Republic of Vietnam Service Medals and many more.

Amos was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying many years hunting and fishing. Another of his favorite pastimes was sitting in the local restaurant having coffee and visiting with friends.

He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer and Stephanie; his son, Nathan; grandson, Josh; granddaughters, Christina, BreAnna, Nichole, Katelin and Carroll; and great- grandchildren, William and Maddison.

Amos was loved and will be missed by everyone who knew him.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers to please make donations to the Veterans Food Bank or the DAV.

At Amos’s request there will not be any services.
