A Columbia Falls woman called the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office to report her elderly male neighbor for running around his property in the nude. She expressed concern for children playing in the neighborhood after witnessing the incident. When approached, the neighbor claimed he did not realize his neighbors could see into his backyard. Officers advised the man not to go outside without clothes anymore and told the reporting party to call again if she saw the man carrying out such “lewd” behavior again.

A man reported his motorcycle stolen after leaving it in the back of his truck in Columbia Falls for about 20 minutes and returning to find it missing.

A man allegedly scared a woman when he reportedly flipped a couch she was sitting on, threw knives around the house and held a knife to her arm, threatening to kill her.

A group of kids were reported for allegedly shooting off fireworks near a business in Hungry Horse and refusing to move when approached by the owners of the business.

A drunk driver allegedly crashed a black car into an ice chest outside of a business after multiple witnesses reported the driver for reckless driving on U.S. 2.

A woman reported a man for suspicious behavior after allegedly witnessing him wandering through a parking lot looking into parked cars. When the woman asked the man if he needed help, he allegedly made kissy faces at her and moved on.

A man driving a black convertible was reported for driving drunk down Montana 35 after he allegedly urinated on himself and attempted to fight other customers at the restaurant he was leaving.

A logging truck accident at the intersection of Montana 82 and Montana 35 blocked traffic at around 8:30 a.m. Monday morning.

A woman called Kalispell Police to report homeless people for hanging out in a public park pavilion while she was trying to set up for her kid’s birthday party. The woman admitted that she did not reserve or rent the pavilion and the transients were not causing any trouble or disrupting anything. Officers drove through the area and confirmed there was no illegal activity occurring.

A woman called 911 to complain about noise coming from a car show. When informed that the noise ordinance did not going into affect until 10 p.m. and that her description of the event indicated no illegal activity, the woman stated she “had no respect for law enforcement” and hung up.

A 16-year-old boy reported a group of seven teenagers for harassing him at his home, banging on the door and making threats against him and other occupants.

Someone reported being mugged by a man wielding a knife who allegedly snatched the reporting party’s backpack and took off with it. The alleged victim followed the suspected thief to a fast food restaurant where officers met up with both parties and arrested the suspect.

Two women were reportedly seen cutting tags off multiple items in a department store and putting them into their purses. The women were trespassed from the premises.
