Rabid squirrel on the loose in C-Falls

According to the Columbia Falls Police Department, somebody had questions about a rabid squirrel possibly living in around Fifth Avenue.

A resident gave their personal information to a person pretending to be an English diplomat with a briefcase full of money.

Three girls received a Minor In Possession citation and one girl was sent to the hospital after reportedly falling out of a vehicle and hitting her head. Prior to the incident, someone saw the girls running around a parking lot screaming that they were drunk.

Someone lost their leather wallet at the bank and was wondering if anybody turned it in.

A group of four men were reportedly fighting on Central Ave in Whitefish. It escalated into a group of about eight men. None of the parties involved wanted to press charges.

A strip of ice on the corner of the road reportedly caused a non-injury wreck in Columbia Falls, and almost caused a deputy to wreck as well.

According to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office, a caller said his friend got very upset at and him and his mother for being in his house. The angry man allegedly threw a dog bowl at the man and water at the man’s mother.

A purse and cash reportedly were discovered in a vehicle, but the driver was nowhere to be found.

A woman’s dog wandered to a stranger’s house while she was on vacation. The dog owner was able to reach her pet-sitter to retrieve the dog.

Someone saw a large inflatable inner tube in the middle of the road between Lakeside and Somers.

A syringe was found in the snow by a boat launch. It was collected and disposed of.

A caller said she loaned a vehicle to a friend a couple days ago. But now he was “being a jerk” and refusing to return the vehicle.

People were shooting guns into the dirt down by the river.

A man had a video of a child trying to open the door on his house.

Bar security reported booting a man out of the establishment, then one of the managers saw the intoxicated suspect get into a car and drive away.

A vehicle was reportedly swerving into a turn lane because the driver was texting.

Two neighbors had a dispute about keeping a dog contained. One of the men allegedly assaulted the other, pushing the man as he stepped off his porch and breaking his wrist.

According to Kalispell Police Department, a father said brothers that were dating his daughters caused damage to his home.

A former employee wanted to report poor business conditions to the health department. He said the business also owed him a paycheck and refused to pay.

A four-wheeler with no lights or license plate was recklessly speeding up and down a street.
