Julie Butters Hall, 44

| March 14, 2018 2:00 AM

Julie Butters Hall, 44, our beloved mother, daughter, sister, wife and friend, “returned to her heavenly Father to join her husband Chris” on Saturday, March 10, 2018.

Julie was raised in West Jordan and South Jordan, Utah. She graduated from Bingham High School where she was drum major of the marching band. Later she graduated from UVSC with a degree in business.

On June 11, 1993, Julie married Chris Hall in the Salt Lake Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints temple. Together they had three children. They raised their family in Kalispell, as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Julie was a devout disciple of Jesus Christ and had served in numerous capacities, including stake primary leadership. She assisted her husband, Chris, in Scouting. After he passed away, Julie was commissioned to be camp director for Melita Island Boy Scouts of America camp on Flathead Lake, where she enjoyed spending countless summers with her two boys. She was very proud of her daughter who has maintained a 4.0 grade point average and won an award for Speech and Debate.

Julie worked as a certified nursing assistant at Brendan House. She cherished the friendships she made over the years with her co-workers and patients. She was suited to nursing as she was very compassionate and caring.

She was fortunate to find another love, Charlie Reavis, who greatly blessed her life. Charlie taught her about all sports. She looked forward to being his caddy when they went golfing. They shared a love for music of all kinds and enjoyed many concerts together. Julie could lighten up any room with her infectious smile and her sparkling brown eyes. Wherever she went she made people happy with her fun personality and positive example. She was creative and enjoyed cross stitching, knitting and crocheting. Reading was one of her favorite pastimes, along with making the world’s best sugar cookies. Julie enjoyed the burn of every sip of Dr. Pepper! She was anxiously awaiting the arrival of her first granddaughter.

Julie is survived by her children, Austin (Sara), Stratton and Kennedy. Julie is also survived by her parents Brian and Shauna, and her siblings David (Jana), Jenny (Cory), and Devin (Heather).

An open house and visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 16, at Darlington Cremation and Burial Service, 3408 U.S. Hwy. 2 East, Kalispell.
