Mary Lou Moyer, 85

Mary Lou Moyer, 85, “entered the gates of heaven into the arms of her heavenly father,” on March 16, 2018, at North Valley Hospital in Whitefish.

She was born Nov. 10, 1932, in Butte to Dolly Woodward Greek and Jacob Priestley and raised by Dolly and Charles Greek. She was the third youngest of seven children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Moyer; her children, Paul Pease and Bluette Holmes; and her siblings, Arenell Warren, June Priestley, Shirley Hancock and Ted Priestley.

She leaves her sister, Cindie Greek Apsey (Art Apsey); brother, James Priestley; children, Don Capparelli, Mary Capparelli, Judy Capparelli and Joe Michael Holmes; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great- grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Mary traveled the United States, living in Maine, Texas, Louisiana, Alaska, Wyoming and Montana. Mary Lou loved the outdoors and loved her Bible study. She always wanted to learn about her Lord and Savior, asking her Pastor Tod Fox many questions keeping him on his toes. She will be dearly missed.

A memorial service for Mary will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 24, at the Lion Hill Baptist Church 133 3rd Ave. South, Martin City. A potluck lunch will follow services at the church.
