Duane Edgar Holder Jr., 62

Duane Edgar Holder Jr. passed away at his home in Eureka on March 18, 2018.

Ed was born on March 25, 1955, in Whitefish to Duane and Ethel Holder. He grew up in Eureka, graduating from Lincoln County High School in 1973. He attended Northern Montana College in Havre Growing up, Ed was surrounded by a large, loving, extended family.

Ed worked for Plum Creek Lumber as a saw filer. This was a trade he learned from his father Duane, who learned the trade from his father, Rufus Edgar.

Ed is survived by Debbie, his wife of 27 years, their son Jeremy (Shanita) of Kalispell, daughter Abbie (Jayce) Reynolds, and granddaughter Kiera Reynolds of Polson. He is also survived by his sisters, Donna of Eureka and Linda (David) of Big Sandy.

Memorial may be made to the family.

Graveside services at the Tobacco Valley Cemetery with a lunch reception at the First Baptist Church of Eureka were held March 26.
