Keys do not unlock dispute between friends

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report from a woman in Evergreen who allegedly got into an argument with an ex-friend over who owned a pair of keys. The spat is said to have resulted in the ex-friend throwing ice cream into the woman’s hair. Rather than having a chilling effect, things heated up and the woman tried to hit the ex-friend. When officers returned the precious keys to the supposed rightful owner, the woman believed one of them was not correct. The ex-friend reportedly agreed to look for “the proper key” the next morning after officers contacted her.

In Hungry Horse, a woman was reportedly greeted on her porch one morning by a cussing landlord who threw a cup of coffee at her. She slammed her door on the “very rude” landlord who allegedly told her she “needed to pay him a bunch of money,” if “they wanted to keep their cars looking nice.”

In Kalispell, a woman allegedly threw a vase at her sister. While the vase missed its mark, the sister wanted the alleged abuse documented.

A woman on U.S. 93 in Whitefish wanted an officer to check on her grandmother who was supposedly meeting a man at a Kalispell restaurant claiming to be a “special agent.” The woman wanted the fraudulent espionage stopped as she felt the man was conning her grandmother out of money.

An irritated father reportedly asked officers if “loud music was against the law,” when they responded to a complaint that his son plays loud music from a “little passenger car” and that the son “threatens anyone who approaches him about his music.” The father was reportedly upset that officers came onto his Bigfork property, advising them that previous deputies had been at his residence because of his son’s possible involvement in other trespass/suspicious reports. Officers advised the father about county ordinances and the public nuisance law.

A drive-by allegedly occurred on Dogwood Avenue in Kalispell when a man told deputies that a bunch of kids inside a maroon sedan shot paintballs or pellets at his vehicle.

A man reported seeing a post on the “Kalispell Yard Sales” social media page of people committing a burglary. The man purported to know the person(s) pictured.

Someone on Ridgewood Drive in Kalispell allegedly saw a vehicle that had been posted on social media as stolen. The person described the vehicle as being spray painted black with some of the original color visible.

Officers received a report from Bigfork that an older female black labrador mix was found lying “in pretty rough shape” on Foothills Road.

A welfare check was requested by someone regarding a possibly malnourished horse in Kalispell. Officers noted the horse in question appeared to be significantly underweight.

There was discord on Harmony Road in Kalispell when a former renter in the process of moving alleged that a landlord physically attacked them, yet couldn’t describe how the dispute was physical.

The Columbia Falls Police Department received a report of a reckless driver on Jensen Road. The person calling in the complaint said the vehicle contained a 5-month-old baby and the driver was behaving erratically.

The Libby Police Department responded to a report that a nurse and employee were assaulted by a patient.

A man met an officer regarding how he “had words” with a cement truck driver who reportedly rinsed and dumped the contents of the truck in an alley.
