Oh Romeo, wherefore art thou?

Someone called to report a brindle-colored pit bull named Romeo was on the loose in the Middle Road area of Columbia Falls, according to a report from the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office. A deputy found the dog’s owner looking for the animal and explained the county ordinance to her.

A woman called to report some things her son said to her during a phone call about guns and killing the president. She said she would send an email to law enforcement and also wanted to speak to a detective.

Someone called to report a series of thefts totaling $2,000. The person reported that she believes a woman stole her credit card from a location in Kila. She said she would get more information about the card number and withdrawal amounts for law enforcement.

A person called to report suspicious fires in the area and believes they were arson. While a deputy spoke to the person and his wife, it was determined the fires started from a slash pile.

Carver, an 8-year-old male black lab, is missing. His owner called the Columbia Falls Police Department to report the disappearance. Carver has a white patch on his chest and the owner is OK with her information being distributed.

Someone called to report that a man the person had met on Instagram was asking for $600. The person said the man had his briefcase, which supposedly contained a lot of money, taken from him at Glacier Park International Airport after he arrived from the United Kingdom. The person had given him money in the past, but didn’t do so this time.

Someone called the Whitefish Police Department to report he thought he lost his friend’s debit card and he wanted to see if it had been turned in.

A person called to report a dark blue Chevy Trailblazer had crashed into the side of the store located on U.S. 93 in Whitefish. There were no injuries.

A person called to report men in a van were in the back parking lot of a business and heard gun shots. When police investgated, they learned the man had been testing a new BB gun.

Apparently, an argument between two people led to a traffic accident on Wedgewood Lane. The person who called in the incident said a tire had fallen off a white Toyota Corolla. When the person arrived to assist, he noticed damage to the front end. The man in the vehicle said there was an argument and the woman ran off the road and into some rocks. There were no injuries reported.

A man called to report a woman chasing him in a recreational vehicle across the field near where he lives. Police spoke to the woman and she gathered her belongings and was on her way.

A tattooed woman was removed from an area bar after she was reportedly kicking and screaming.
