Woman needs clarification on horse etiquette

Someone called the Whitefish Police Department with questions about what she can and can’t do regarding a horse in town.

A woman called to request a hazing device to get rid of transients who have been camping out on her lawn.

A person called saying an employee was the victim of a theft of several items, including chocolate, bobby pins and hair clips. The person said they would conduct an internal investigation and notify police if there are any valid suspects.

Someone called to report an inebriated man in the hospital lobby wanting the keys to his vehicle, but they were not given to him.

A man called to see if anyone had dropped off a credit card he lost near the library.

A woman called to report she was nearly attacked by two canines and her dog was attacked, but not injured, while taking a walk. She requested that police speak to the animal’s owners.

Columbia Falls Police took a man into custody who was a suspect in a assault on a partner or family member. He was then transferred to the custody of the Kalispell Police Department. The man was allegedly in possession of a .45-caliber handgun and the victim’s phone.

A man called to report being harassed by a company claiming to be Google, wanting him to list his business. It has been happening for the last few years and he has been trying to get added to the do-not-call list. Police gave the man a scam hotline number.
