Marilyn Patricia (Flanders) Johnson, 81

Marilyn Patricia (Flanders) Johnson, formerly of Lakeside, passed away on April 28, 2018, in Elko, Nevada.

She was born on Aug. 13, 1936, in Minneapolis, to James and Christine Flanders.

She graduated from Central High School in Minneapolis, and attended the Minnesota College of Business.

She married Earl L. Johnson on June 16, 1956, and they were married for over 61 years.

Marilyn was the consummate wife, mother and grandmother, loved by all who knew her, and she will be missed greatly by all.

Survivors include her husband, Earl, daughters, Patricia, and Jill and Eric; son, Michael and Becky; and grandchildren, Caitlin, Kimberly, John and Jacob.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Burns Mortuary in Elko, with cremation to follow.
