Glacier well-represented in Montana Elite track

Both Glacier teams are well-represented on the newest edition of the Montana Elite Track and Field list released Wednesday.

Six individuals and three Wolfpack relay teams sit within the top three of their respective events with their top marks so far this season.

Mark Estes (triple jump) and Evan Todd (javelin) each hold the top mark in the state to this point, as does Annie Hill (800-meter run). The Glacier boys have the best time of any team in the 4x100 relay.

Hill is also second in the 400 and 3,200.

Other top performers in the area include Flathead’s Ben Perrin (first in the 3,200 and third in the 1,600) and Bigfork’s Bryn Morley (first in 1,600 and second in 800). Bigfork’s girls 4x400 relay team is also tops in Montana.

The Flathead and Glacier boys are second and third in the state, respectively, in the 4x400 relay, and the Glacier girls are third in the event.

Glacier’s Ethan Larson (100), Elijah Boyd (800) and Hunter Nicholson (triple jump) are all second in their respective events. Flathead’s Chad Hemsley (300 hurdles) and Madison Boles (high jump) are also second in Montana this season.

Michael Lee of Flathead (shot put) and Columbia Falls’ Angellica Street (javelin) are each third in their events.
