In addition to cash prizes, the first place recipients receive an added bonus this year: full scholarships to the 28th annual Flathead River Writers Conference September 22-23, donated by the late Don Ryan, longtime member. On June 7, winners will read their work at the Authors of the Flathead meeting, held at 7 p.m. at Flathead Valley Community College, Broussard Building, Room 118. The reading is open to the public.
