A person called the Whitefish Police Department to remove three unruly passengers from the train. They were apparently all in their late 20s and were acting drunk and belligerent. One had a guitar.

A man received some counseling on his driving after someone reported an alleged drunk driver in the neighborhood.

A man called to report that his female roommate pulled the blankets off of him and also tried to remove some other clothing from him. They were eventually separated.

A man wearing a tank top and a New York Yankees ball cap caused a stir at an establishment when he walked out without paying for $33 worth of drinks. He was also talking to himself and making some of the staff uncomfortable.

Someone called to report that the driver’s door on a green Hummer had been left open for more than 10 minutes.

Someone called the Columbia Falls Police Department to report a woman who allegedly stole two six-packs of beer and other items, including a watermelon. After reviewing video, the identity of the woman is known to the reporting person.

A person called to report people in a camper at an area grocery store who were “stealing electricity” from it. An officer spoke with the people and they are moving on.

A woman walking her dog reported a man stumbling and eventually falling down. She thought he may have been drinking heavily.

A person called to report an older black lab with a leg wound running loose on Fourth Avenue. The animal had a collar, but no tags. The dog was taken to the county animal shelter.

Someone called the Kalispell Police Department to report an older man whose red convertible Saab had stopped running while he was driving. He seemed confused and tried to get into her vehicle while she talked to him. A tow truck did arrive to take the man and his car to the repair shop.

A person called to report that her neighbors just threatened her because they didn’t like the way she sprayed her weeds. They allegedly threatened to dump weed killer on her yard. An officer counseled all involved parties.

Someone called to report a woman left her 11- and 12-year-old kids at home alone and she had to mediate a disagreement between the two. The person said this has become a regular thing. An officer spoke to the children, who had calmed down, and was going to talk to the parents later.

A person called to report a man who was breaking into vehicles. The suspect was driving a blue Jeep Cherokee. The person also reported that there is an active drug house down the street. He also reported the man had passed out.

Someone called to report that a person loosened the lug nuts on her granddaughter’s car while it was parked at the school. An officer provided the information to the school’s student resource officer.

A person called to report a transient that had been removed from a store the day before was across the street under a tree. He has a dog and apparently had moved out of a burned-out garage.

Someone called to report two dogs in a blue and white Chevy Blazer with the windows up. They were barking and panting heavily. When an officer arrived, there were no vehicles matching that description.

A person called to report her suspicions about a home she believes is a drug house. She thought the people that were coming and going from there were underage. She asked for more police patrols.

Someone called to report a man in a store “spazzing out.” He apparently said the police were following him and he believed other customers were police officers. He left soon after the call was made.
