Raising a stink about toppled potty

Someone called the Whitefish Police Department to report a tipped-over porta potty. The person was concerned that it may leak. But when it was checked, there didn’t appear to be any damage or any other cause for concern.

Police advised a man not to juggle fire in city limits. He and another man were advised of park hours.

A person called to report her laptop was missing. She last saw it on the coffee table, but after leaving and then returning to the house, it was missing. She later found it upstairs.

Someone called to report a possible DUI. The person saw a man get out of a silver car with a beer in his hand. The car also contained a Doberman Pinscher.

Someone called to report two or three shirtless, Canadian men fighting outside a bar. They were eventually taken to the police station.

A person called to ask for assistance with a possibly malfunctioning door bell. He said it rang three times in 15 minutes, but when he got up to answer it, no one was there.

A man walking to work found a Canadian identification card. It was held at the station until it was picked up.

Someone called to report a fire in a fire pit and people making noise after 10 p.m.

A man called to report that another man got out of a vehicle and punched him in the face. The alleged pugilist apparently thought the man honked at him. The man didn’t require medical help and the suspect was gone when police arrived.

It seems that music from a wedding at the armory was more than one person could stand Saturday night. She reported a loud base noise. Officers spoke with the wedding planners who closed the doors and changed the music to reduce the sound.

Someone called the Columbia Falls Police Department to report that flaggers on a work crew wouldn’t let her turn into her driveway. She said they weren’t allowing vehicles through properly, they didn’t know what they are doing and was concerned they are going to cause an accident. She asked the extral patrols be done in the area.
