HELENA — The Kalispell Lakers B won both games on the opening day of the Helena Memorial Day Tournament, downing the Missoula Mavericks B 8-6 and Billings Post 4 8-4.
Ryan Galvan doubled and tripled to go with three RBIs in Game 1.
In the nightcap, Jack Corriveau struck out seven over six innings of work, and Danny Kernin led the way at the plate with two RBIs.
The Lakers stole four bases in each game.
Action continues today as the Lakers face the Bozeman Bucks B at 5:15 p.m. The winner advances to Monday’s championship game, also at 5:15.
