Halloween prankster caught red-handed
A juvenile who egged his neighbor’s house was caught by the homeowner, according to Kalispell Police. The boy was with two others when he threw the egg and hit a window. The egg didn’t cause any damage and the boy’s mother was notified.
Someone said a neighbor let air out of her tires, nearly causing her to have an accident. Police determined that there was a trespass order against the accused.
A young woman trick-or-treating accidentally pocket dialed 911.
A man returned home to find a TV, jewelry, camera and other items missing.
A person left work only to discover his bicycle had been stolen. It was a black and red Trek bike with glow-in-the-dark tape all over it and a rear light.
Someone said a man wearing a black trench coat and red hoodie was “casing” vehicles in a parking lot. He was leaning up against a light post when an officer arrived. The man moved along.
A building manager reported having video footage of people stealing candy from a vending machine.
A woman woke up and found a lawnmower in her yard that didn’t belong to her. She said she would hang on to it until it could be picked up.
Someone said three political signs were stolen from the yard.
A person that had been moved along had returned and another request was made to get the person to leave. The person’s vehicle was covered with tarps.
