Kalispell dancers to appear in Macy's Parade

Kira Hadland and Alyssa Roberts, both of Kalispell, will be dancing in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.

Hadland is the daughter of Nikki and Josh Morrison of Kalispell and Bryan Hadland and Ann Knudsen of Somers. She attends Kalispell Middle School and will be a freshman at Flathead High School next year. She has been dancing for 11 years, and is currently at Turning Pointe Dance. She dances in tap, jazz, ballet, contemporary, hip hop and pre-pointe.

Roberts is the daughter of Larry and Sheree Roberts of Kalispell and a freshman at Glacier High School. She has been dancing for 12 years and is currently taking ballet, tap and jazz classes. She has a background of doing contemporary, Broadway and hip hop dance, as well.

In New York, the Spirit of America production company will be taking them on a harbor tour to the Statue of Liberty, as well as to the Empire State Building, 9/11 Memorial, a Broadway Show and to the Radio City Rockettes Christmas Spectacular.
