Tenant a-salt-ed with kitchen ware

An employee at a community living center called Kalispell Police to report one tenant for allegedly throwing a saltshaker at another tenant and hitting them in the hand.

A woman reported a group of “campaign people” for repeatedly harassing her at home. According to the woman, she felt threatened when the group approached her talking aggressively several days in a row while she was out in her yard.

Someone called the police on their neighbor wanting someone to make them take an “ugly couch” off their lawn. An officer drove through the area, saw the couch in question with a “free” sign on it and determined that nothing illegal was taking place.

A woman called to report a man for allegedly trying to break into her home. The man she suspected allegedly pushed in her door prior to the report and then tried to break in a second time a few days later.

A man reportedly came home to find a group of strangers doing laundry at his home. The man said that when he entered and found the people, they fled the house, leaving their vehicle behind. The man added that he leaves his door open for the purpose of allowing friends to do laundry there and the people who fled “apparently had permission” from someone to be there.

A man called to report an act of vandalism in his and a neighbor’s yard. The man told police someone had spray painted political signs into his lawn as well as the lawn in front of a house down the street.

A woman reportedly showed up at the police station to show an officer a copy of the city’s bike laws. The woman was allegedly upset about a car honking at her while she was riding her bike and wanted to speak with an officer on duty about it.

Someone called to report a driver for cutting them off in a grocery store parking lot in order to take a handicapped parking space in front of the entrance. The caller claimed to have heard the driver state “I am not handicapped.” Officers responded to find a valid handicap placard hanging from the suspect vehicle’s mirror.

A woman called the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office to report seeing her neighbor stealing items from her home on the nanny camera. The woman stated she was at a cell phone repair store getting a phone fixed when she saw him inside the house on the camera.

Someone reported finding a car dump off Red Gate Road in Marion where several vehicles had allegedly been pushed off a cliff. A discarded, broken down rafting bus was reportedly seen among them.
