B. Marcia Wise, 88

Marcia Wise, our loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend passed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sept. 30, 2018.

Marcia was born on Oct. 23, 1929, in Santa Monica, California, to Harold and Alma Cool and was the youngest of four siblings. She was raised in Culver City, California, and the movie studio back lot sets were her playground.

Marcia married her beloved husband, Robert, of 53 years, and together they raised seven children.

Marcia moved to the Flathead Valley in 1976 and, ever since, the Flathead Valley has been their home. Marcia was a member of Eastern Star, a talented artist, an avid card player, an old movie buff and loved to journal their immense travels. Bob and Marcia started the cribbage program in the Flathead Valley schools in 1992 and delivered for Meals on Wheels for 18 years.

She was preceded in death by her son, Terry Wise.

Marcia is survived by her husband, Robert, and children, David Wise, Laurie Grant, Tony Borders, Debbie Hamon, Kathy Shaver and Mike Wise; 22 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13, at Epworth United Methodist Church; 329 2nd Ave E. in Kalispell. Fellowship will follow after the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Epworth church.
