Mary Beth Passmore, 56

Mary Beth Passmore was born on Aug. 22, 1962, in Garden City, Michigan, to Frank Wynegar and Betty Stokes Wynegar. Mary was raised in Great Falls and graduated from Great Falls High in 1980.

Mary was married to Kirk Passmore, whom she met in Great Falls on August 8, 1987. They married in Kalispell, and were married for 24 years. Mary lived primarily in Great Falls from 1962 to 1986. In 1986 she moved to Kalispell where she lived, married her husband, Kirk, and raised her daughter. Mary moved back to Great Falls in 2012 after her divorce, where she lived until she passed on Sept. 12, 2018.

Mary received her nail technician certification at the Great Falls School of Cosmetology. Mary was a server in several Kalispell restaurant-bars, including the Black Angus, Outlaw Inn and Cavanaugh’s. She also worked as a nail technician at Sisson’s Salon and Merle Norman. As a daughter and sister of veterans of the U.S. military, Mary proudly served as a member of the Ladies Auxiliary-VFW.

Some of Mary’s hobbies were camping, fishing, socializing and shopping, helping a friend or stranger in need, teaching Sunday school when her daughter was young, and traveling with her family.

Mary is survived by her former husband Kirk Passmore, her daughter Rachel Cole (Michael), brothers Ron Wynegar (Yvonne), Jayme Wynegar (Liz), and Robert Wynegar (Lisa); and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and -nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Betty, and her brothers, Larry and Keith.

Mary was a generous friend to all.

Her celebration of life memorial is to be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13 at the Hampton Inn 1140 Highway 2 W., Kalispell, MT 59901.
