Whitefish drops Browning in straight sets

WHITEFISH — Whitefish volleyball took care of Browning in straight sets 25-17, 25-9, 25-12 on Tuesday.

“We finished off our regular season Senior Night with a great win,” Bulldogs coach Addy Connelly said. “The girls worked hard tonight. Served consistently, passed well and took care of business. It’s always a great win when emotions are running high.”

Lauren Schulz recorded 14 assists, six kills and served four aces. Marlee Bender had 10 kills and three blocks.

Stillwater 3, Glacier JV 1

Stillwater Christian defeated Glacier JV 25-18, 22-25, 25-22, 25-20 on its Senior Night.

The Lady Cougars improved to 17-4 overall and 8-0 in conference.

“Always great to get a win for those ladies who are finishing up their volleyball career at Stillwater,” Stillwater coach Diane Smith said. “Seniors Helen Hashley, Cora Boll and Ramey Metzger have shown humility and leadership on and off the court that has been a fine example to our younger players. They will surely be missed.”

Metzger recorded four assists and four service aces. Abby Hudson had 12 kills and six blocks.
